MY SUMMARY:  Ethan life has forever changed since he met Lena Duchannes during the beginning of this years school year.  He finds himself in love with the most mystery girl in Gatlin.  He thought he knew how much his life has changed until now.

Lena just lost her uncle Macon and has recently buried him.  She gets into a deep depression and separates herself from Ethan which drives him crazy.  He continues to try to be part of her life and help her get through what every she going through but she continues to push him away.  Things continue to be distance and become dark.

Is Ethan going to be able heal his heart break from Lina?  Will he be able to save her from herself?  Is there a bigger picture to what happened with the death of Macon Ravewood?  What changes are occurring in Lena?

MY REVIEW:  This time around it was difficult to read this book.  It was now a boys turn to be pushed away from the girl he loves.  It was enlightening and interested in getting a boys perspective of how they deal with resentment.  In the twilight saga Bella gets into a deep depression and starts acting rebellious.  As a boy, Ethan goes mad because he wants to know why or fix the problem.

Other then the above comment it seemed the book was similar to the last one.  That is why it was difficult to read.  It had the similar flow and there was not really any surprises.  This problem of Lena not wanting to choose either light or darkness was getting old.  At the end, cliff hanger she still does not decide.  Because of that I am done with this series.
