This year we celebrate veterans day on November 11th, 2010. As part of my commitment in organizing a WWII day event in Southern Maryland I hope to take some time on how important it is to celebrate this day.
I remember all veterans when exploring a historical sites, battlefields and cemeteries. I also remember the military when participating or just going to military remembrances, USO nights, reenactments and living history events.
What do you do or can do to remember all American veterans? Be a part of remembering all our veterans by participating or volunteering your time to bring historic events and documentaries to life. If you have a special skill please contact your local historical society or other nonprofits in your area to see how you can help bring our history to life to show your appreciate for our past and current veterans.
